I hate the fact that I've become that girl who will sit around with bated breath waiting to see if that one person will pop online and worrying about who will say hi first. I'm such a dork, big time. I wish I wasn't so shy because then I could've dealt with all of this today and not have to be in this situation tonight but no. I'm a chicken who's too damn afraid to say anything...

I'm so so excited about Ann's christmas box. It's so awesome. I'm so proud, haha. I know it's exactly what I would want if I were away from everything I know for so long. There's a few things left to add but otherwise, it's looking good for it being sent out for Wednesday. yah!

today was a good day. "Surprise" quiz in chemistry and biology tests came back. pff. sucked but whatever. i gotta start with the whole effort thing now.. i want to do really really well this year but there's just so much stupid work and i can't get the energy up to doing any of it.

i love christmas songs. i've got them going already and it's great. theres nothing better than a little old school nsync christmas songs to get you in the spirit. haha.

i really want to get my dress for semi formal soon. i've been looking around a bit but i haven't made any decisions yet. i think i want something black.. and long-ish. maybe. watch me go out and pick up a bright pink short dress after saying that. haha. the whole getting all pretty-d up for semi is the best part. the actual semi part always leaves something to be desired but whatever.

stupid sick-cold-ness. thanks to shannon for passing this lovely sniffling-sorethroatscratchy-ness on to me. i appreciate it.. so now i get to sit around sniffling and sneezing and yawning and coughing. bah. colds suck hard.

on a lighter note, i'm quite proud that i'm sitting here updating this little journal. i haven't done this in quite a while. not since like before i was going to ottawa which was a couple weeks ago.

ottawa was fun. well kinda. definately tiring. it hard to watch someone suffer from alzheimers especially someone who you looked up to a great deal when you were younger. someone who used to appear so strong, and is now so frail and slowly falling apart.. it just sucks. but unfortunately its stupid life

i haven't worked at the restaurant in ages and cindy still hasn't called about tonight, so i guess that means i'm not working. which is nice but definately strange. i'm having a really hard time trying to decide what i want to do about that stupid place. i don't want to quit but i don't really want to work there anymore either. there's too much shit there.

plans for tonight are up in the air. i'd like to go to this party thing but i'm kind of hesitant because i'm not feeling well and i'd really just like to sleep this weekend. but i want to go hang out with friends and everything because i haven't in ages. blah. i'm just not in the mood to put out the effort to go. but i'm not gonna decide until the last possible moment because i don't even wanna think about it now.

i rented shattered glass today. i haven't heard much about it but i do know that hayden christiensan(icantspell) is in it and it does look like it could be good.

thats all for now. time to go get knocked up on some cold meds.

i made the soccer team. which i'm really quite happy about because its something i really wanted. so YAY. after the drama of last week, this week has been super.
I'm really getting used to the whole "sucky friends" stuff. I'm learning to just appreciate them for who they are there instead of who i'd like them to. because they all are really sweet people but sometimes, they just don't understand the whole "being there" thing. Which is something I'll just live with because there are a few people who are there for me, and those people are the ones that I appreciate the most.

Next weekend, I'm heading to Ottawa. I'm excited because I haven't been there since November and I miss it. I love shopping and just...being there. I can really, REALLY see myself living there eventually. Definately not anytime in the near future but someday. Its just such a neat place.

But yay for it being Thursday and being soclose to the weekend! I'm excited for a couple days of sleeping in.

For the first time ever, I'm really looking forward to getting out of my stupid school and going someplace new, and meeting new people. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends but I'm tired of all this. I want something new. New people with different interests, who aren't all into the same thing and don't just strive to be the "cool, popular" group.

I wish I was brave enough to stand out and be an individual. I hate how sometimes I feel the need to look like everyone else. Not all the time, but sometimes... I just want to be me and have people accept me for me but blah.

Such a crappy day. Started out well, ended rather poorly. Ah well. Maybe tomorrow will be different.

Side note: this journal was actually updated THREE times today. Alas, one time it was for a quiz but still.. THREE. Way to go me! I've finally found use for it.

^^^that has been my motto for the last couple months. which sucks. everything sucks. BLAH
I hate being the backup friend who's only visible when that "friend" wants me to be visible or when others aren't there to take my place. i just feel like this invisible person on the back wall, and everyone just takes advantage of me when its at their leisure. i'm just the reliable friend who's always there but no one thinks about FIRST. i'm always second, or third.. or even fourth.
none of this made any sense whatsoever but i just needed to vent.

Sometimes I really wish I was closer with my brother. He's going through this phase where he hates everyone and everything. I'm lucky enough to be one of the people he's chosen to hate most. I'm never able to talk without him saying something completely rude to me. And then I get so angry, that I just want to smack him in the face for saying those stupid things to me. He does what he can to put me down and it hurts and it's dumb. I know it's just a phase he's going through but I really wish it would just pass.

I don't have a sister so I long for a close relationship with a sibling. My other brother and I are close (I guess) but there's a larger age gap and he hasn't hit that age where you turn against everything. Bleh.

I really feel like I've missed out on something great by not having a sister. I would give anything to have one. Some people don't realize how lucky they are to have a sister. They'll complain about how their sister did something that pissed them off and how they hate them or just don't like them. There's nothing that angers me more than to hear someone say that. Because no matter what happens in your life, your sister is always there. And nothing or no one can break the bond the two of you share. I really wish I had that. (This could very well be me being incredibly idealistic but I don't care.)

My tv night is complete. I watched some of That 70's Show (ashton is hot.) and then American Idol and now I'm watching parts of the OC I missed on Monday night. I'm officially sucked in to that show. Gr. I hate myself because I didn't WANT to start watching it but I did once and got hooked. Stupid teen-dramas.

American Idol pisses me off so much sometimes. Especially Randy Jackson. SHUT UP! I can't stand the way he talks.. "Yah dawg.. C'mon dawg.. Yah yah." And then he does his little peace out thing and I'm screaming at my television. Gah. Oh and is it just me but is Ryan Seacrest just a touch hot? Yah. And next week's group of 8 looks really good. I really liked Amy in the first round of auditions and I thought the pen-salesman guy was a cutie. It shall be interesting for sure.

It's only 9:45 and I'm already wanting to go to bed. I'm such a loser. But I have to go to bed this early because if I don't, I can barely make it through morning classes. Ah well. Sleep can wait. I still have a few things I want to do tonight.

Anyways, this shall be the end of my random little entry. :D I think I'm gonna enjoy writing pointless stuff on here...
